Malika Collective are a London-based ensemble lead by guitarist and composer George Risk. Featuring Henry Lawry on keys, Nee Mantse on bass, Ayman Sinada on drums, Samuel Owusu on percussion, James Akers on tenor sax and special guest David F Walker on vocal. With roots firmly planted in the fertile soil of the London Jazz scene, the band is an ever evolving dynamic group, drawing on a virtuosic cast of musicians each bringing their own unique flavours to the mix.

The music of Malika Collective is a sonic tapestry woven with energetic groove and threads of intricately crafted melody. Expect unusual time signatures, synths and effects blending with timeless elements of jazz improvisation, a fusion of old and new, tradition and innovation. 

While fearlessly exploring an array of sonic landscapes the group draw inspiration from a vast spectrum of genres, blending influences from jazz, funk, rock, afrobeat, soul and dance music. Each track is a journey, a vibrant mosaic of sounds and textures that invites listeners to lose themselves in the music.
